My eight year old and my five year old were able to dress like 100 year olds at their school today. They were so excited. We had fun coming up with their outfits. I think their favorite part was spraying their hair gray. I know it will be a very long time until they are 100. I do sense them getting older though and I just want things to slow down because I love this age. I love being able to go to parks with them. I love going to the zoo. I love doing crafts with them. I love that they love legos. Just recently my eight year old became slightly disinterested in legos. This has been a part of his life for years. So I guess we will move onto new things, maybe model cars or something ( a friend mentioned that to me). Well, they are precious to me and this time is precious to me.

Oh no, can't believe Jack is outgrowing the legos. Ben did switch to model cars...now that I think about it...He did the legos for years but then moved on. He never did get into the model cars liked legos but enjoyed them for awhile.
Oh my, they are growing up on us! I've got to get moved there...I am missing so much.

The time passes so quickly but as you are wise to soak it all in, the memories will bring happy smiles to you when they are grown and gone. God is so good and has blessed you greatly. :)
Awww - too cute! I can't believe how much they look like Ben - not that he looks "old" - you know what I mean ;-)
